YOUR FIRST VISIT
Your first visit will take about 20 minutes.
The doctor will talk to the patient through every step of their first visit. We want to hear your questions, and we'll take all the time necessary to make sure you feel confident about your treatment. We're here to serve you and your family.
1. Consultation - History and Symptoms
As part of our commitment to proactive and preventive care, we begin by gathering important information about your medical history, including any pre-existing conditions, prior injuries, and treatments from current or previous healthcare providers.
The doctor will then discuss any current discomfort or areas of concern, even if they seem minor. This helps ensure there are no underlying issues that could interfere with your wellness goals. After understanding your history and concerns, the doctor will perform a series of assessments to check for any potential issues and fine-tune your maintenance care plan for optimal health.
2. Examination
Orthopedic Exam / Neurological Exam / Range of motion / Chiropractic Exam
Further tests may be necessary to assess the affected area.
3. Diagnostic studies (if necessary)
To support your ongoing wellness, diagnostic imaging such as X-rays or MRIs may be useful based on your history and exam results. These tools help reveal any underlying issues or structural abnormalities, allowing us to more accurately assess your condition and ensure your maintenance care plan is tailored to your needs.
If X-rays are necessary, we’ll refer you to a local facility, and once the films are ready, we will review them with you to ensure everything is aligned for your continued care.
If you’ve had previous imaging, such as X-rays, CT scans, or MRIs, please bring the CDs and reports with you to help us better understand your health history.
4. Treatment
To keep your body functioning at its best, specific chiropractic adjustments are applied to both the spine and extremities. These adjustments are designed to maintain optimal functionality, reduce pain, relieve nerve irritation, and preserve the healthy range of motion in your joints and muscles.
As part of your ongoing wellness, the doctor will develop a personalized spinal hygiene program for each patient, focusing on long-term health and preventing future issues.
To enhance your maintenance care, hydromassage therapy is included in your first visit at no additional cost. This soothing therapy, provided either before or after your adjustment, helps relax muscles and supports the benefits of your chiropractic care.
